14 pins are in used one that connector including the blank hole and two on the bottom pins are still open

I am trying to count the connector you are holding in your hand, it actually has 11 pin holes (female connectors) plus 1 blank hole and the motherboard connector has 14 pins, so front panel connector not covering the whole motherboard connector? Is this what you are trying to say in your comments?

I appreciate for your pictures, however can you make larger this picture ( I meant please make bigger new picture of this location at different angle)  I found somewhere at Dell forum, especially front panel connector area.

I am trying to count actual wires connected to this connector and there are not so many of them, but above picture is too small. My best guess - I can count about 10 actual wires plus 1 pin connected by wire to another wire (this missing 1 pin connection will give front panel I/O error and you would have to press F1 each time you boot, not a big deal). My next best guess is as follows = 4 wires for card reader, 2 wires power switch, 2 wires hard drive activity light and 2 wires front panel light (power light) and the lower (in this picture) black wire connecting bottom left pin hole to one of the wires from actual front panel

Hm, OK. now a little bit about case options.

First I want to show my Inspiron 570 in Cooler Master HAF 912 case for any future comparisons, in addition I have shown there all fan installed with short fan specifications (if you or anyone else will consider to install). Those fan installations are important for anyone planning to overclock their PCs only, standard CPU specifications NOT REQUIRED case fan upgrades!

1. This one came from CPU, because it has PWM control and I wanted to have constant speed. When connected to 3 pin connector it works at max RPM. 2000 RPM, 82.9 CFM, 36 dBA

2. (2 and 3 same). Cooler Master A12025-12CB-3BN-F1 (came with my case HAF 912), 1200 RPM, 44.03 CFM, 17 dBA or 19.8 dBA (this fan sold as OEM parts only so parameters are approximate). This fan was in position of number 1 fan, dropped down as less essential.

3. Cooler Master A12025-12CB-3BN-F1 (came with my case HAF 912), 1200 RPM, 44.03 CFM, 17 DBa or 19.8 dBA (this fan sold as OEM parts only so parameters are approximate). This fan use to be an exhaust one, too weak, so it was replaced.

4. and 7. Same. CPU Push (4) and Pull (7). BGears model b Blaster, 2000 RPM, 103 CFM, 35 dBA. My strongest and loudest fans.

5. and 6. Same. Upper exhaust. Cooler Master, 2000 RPM, 69CFM, 19 dBA.

8. Exhaust. 3 speed controller box, I cannot hear it at max RPM, so it run at max all the time. Antec, 1200 / 1600 / 2000 RPM, 39 / 56 / 79 CFM, 25 / 28 / 30 dBA.

Now you can choose basically any case you like, feel free to post here and ask for advice. A few options to consider.

MINE case, Cooler Master HAF 912, newegg, frys.

Cougar Solution Black Steel

Corsair Carbide Series 200R

Cooler Master Elite 430

And plenty more, look around .

Also, I seen you considering Fry's in-store only item - it is not available now already unfortunately. Where do you live geographically, I am in Los Angeles California.
