If you're willing to spring for an SSD, you can image over the original and keep your data. It will be vastly faster than the old RAID setup, although I'm not sure how well XP works with SSDs.

The HyperX memory may not be compatible with your system. Sometimes it does not matter if all the specs are the same. I would advise Crucial memory for Dell upgrades since it's guaranteed to work.
