XPS 2710 - Configuration Utility on start up

I just received my Dell XPS 2710 this week. Loaded with all the top specs for this machine. (16 gb Ram, 32 GB SSD, etc) Removed the unit from the box, plugged it in and began the set up process Established key board language, Time Zone, etc. Shut down the computer to do other things around the house. Came back to my brand new computer about one-half hour later and tried to turn it on. Unit powered up and got "stuck" on the Dell logo screen. Called Dell Technical support and was instructed to "adjust" boot setting in the Bios. (F2 key brought us to Bios). After a few attempts at changing Boot options, Dell Technical support managed to get my computer running again. However, now  each and every time I start up or restart, I get a 15 second "flash" showing the "Intel Rapid Storage Technology - Option ROM", screen suggesting to use CTRL-I to enter that screen. It shows my hard drive as a "non-RAID" drive and my solid state drive as a "Cache Disk (1). Dell Technical support suggested that I just ignore this start up sequence and everything would be fine. The system, after the Intel Rapid Storage Technology "flash", goes to the "Lock Screen" which I "remove" using the space bar and I am taken to the Login screen and I log in and everything seems fine.

If this how the boot up sequence is supposed to work, and everyone's system is the same, then I guess I can live with it. If  not could someone please tell me how I can get a "clean" boot from this system. Hard to believe that a brand new computer would require support one-half hour after being removed from the box.

Thanks for any help that you can provide
