@Manny V. Motherboards for 580s and 580 are the same - so only form factor is different, so all upgrades applicable for 580 are equally applicable to 580s (plus consideration for slim). Also, if you read the beginning, you would notice that author was planning to upgrade the case to larger one - so he could install upgrades without smal factor limitations.
