I have been having problems with my T3500 workstation and dual U2410 monitors, usually the machine runs great apart from the flickering of the screens on startup and ocassional problem with the monitors going into sleep mode and not being able to retrieve it back again, sometime the problem will switch between the monitors. I have spoken with dell support for over 4 hours regarding this issue and they updated several things on my machine then put the problem down to the ati firepro 2260 card and replaced it, however this did not cure the problem, the monitors and cabling are also not the problem as i have tested various cables and the problem will switch between the 2 monitors.
I have worked out that when this random occurance happens i have to restore my system back to before the previous windows update. this problem is not ideal and loses me a couple of hours production when it happens and is very annoying considering the price of this machine. has anyone experienced the flickering of monitors and the random sleep mode and offer any assistance?
