You should able to upgrade to the Athlon 64 X2 6000+ [Windsor], or the 6000+, 3.1Ghz, 2x512kb Cache, [Brisbane].

Buy the 89W version of the processor. 

Note: Prior to installing the processor, check that the latest BIOS version is installed.
