I have a question regarding XPS 8500. I was thinking of purchasing one that specifically has Windows 7 as an operating system, instead of Windows 8, with 16GB of memory, a i7-3770 processor, and a Geforce GTX 660 video card.
I found a custom XPS desktop with a GTX 660 here: http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-8500/pd?oc=fxdnpx31sh&model_id=xps-8500#!stoneId=undefined&overrides=fxdnpx31sh:6~W8GTX66;3~16G164D
But it only comes with Windows 8.
While I also a custom XPS desktop that comes with Windows 7 here: http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/xps-8500/fs
it doesn't have an option how a GTX 660.
I just want to know if it's technically possible to either get a XPS 8500 with Windows 8 and a GTX 660 and then down-grading it to a Windows 7, or to get one with Windows 7 and a GeForce 620 or 640 and then replacing that card with a retail GTX 660?
And which option would be better?
Thanks.
