What exactly does Dell DSS do? I see the description "urgent....critical patches and updates for O/S". Is it simply to to monitor my system and alert me to driver updates and critical downloads posted to Dell's Drivers and Downloads page? If so, why so I need it at this point? If it is something else, (updates to O/S???), please explain what it has to do with Windows Updates. And if it is truly necessary, please confirm that I should load it before any Windows Updates are done.
