No No No: A blue power button with 1,3 means a memory configuration error -- the resolution for this is a memory dance to find out if there is a bad stick -OR- or bad motherboard. Try the following:
- Take out one of the memory sticks (we will call this Stick 1 in Slot A): Does it boot
- Take out that stick and put it in the other memory slot (Stick 1 Slot B): Does it boot
- Try Stick 2 in slot A
- Try Stick 2 in slot B
==> If the problem follows a particular stick, replace the stick
==> If the problem follows a particular slot, replace the board
==> If they all don't work, it could either be the board -OR- both sticks
==> If they all work, put stick 1 back in slot A --> If it works you are good to go, if it doesn't, replace the motherboard.
==> IMPORTANT: Before going in to the case, unplug the computer and drain residual power for 15 second by holding the power button. Memory, especially, is subject to Electostatic Discharge (ESD).
