I honestly don't believe it's running at full potential. So in fact you are right with the 1333 issue but none the less its great ram . I just changed the power the supply to a 1000 watt evga 80 plus gold and added a EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC w/ ACX Cooler. Super quiet. I believe there is nothing else I can do to this machine. It runs pro tools flawless, photoshop c s 6 seamless. Metro last light runs great no lag. I wish I should have went with the i7 vs the i5 but I don't think it would make that much differnce. If so would it be worth changing my i5 to a 7 in the long run?
