Hi Folks:
I have an new iMac (Late 2012 model) I use for knocking out videos using Final Cut Pro. The iMac displays at 2560 x 1440 just like the XPS One 2710. I have hooked up my rockin' XPS One 2710 to the iMac so I can have dual monitors when I am doing my video work. Then when I an done I switch the XPS back to "computer" and use it for all the Windows 8 goodness. The XPS R O C K S!
My issue . . . .
When I hook the XPS to the iMac and make it dual monitor for the iMac the screen resolution for the XPS drops to 1080p, or 1920 x 1080 and the items on the XPS look grainy.
Does anyone know if I can get the XPS up to the 2560 x 1440 resolution as a dual monitor? If so, how? I have been racking my brain trying to make this work.
It is not an iMac issue as other stand alone monitors scale to 2560 x 1440 in dual monitor on the iMac, no problem. It just seems to be the XPS.
Thanks for any help.
John
