Have you re-installed the OS by booting the system from Operating System re-installation DVD using F12 button at startup (during Dell logo). If yes, did the re-installation finished successfully or did you receive any error messages during installation. Please elaborate the issue so that I may assist you further.
You may also follow the steps below to run the diagnostics to verify the hardware functionality :
- Power on the system
- Press F12 when you see Dell logo
- Highlight Diagnostics and press Enter
- Note down Error messages if any and continue the tests.
