It seems the motherboard has gone bad and needed to be replaced. Inspiron 2310 comes with both Integrated and Discrete graphics. The part # XGMD0 refers to the motherboard with integrated graphics. Please share the source from where you get the part #. If you are not sure about the motherboard shipped with the system, you may provide me the Service Tag and the name as it appears on the account via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) so I may access your records and check if the system is shipped with integrated or discrete motherboard.
