Hi
So I have an Inspiron 580 desktop and I want to replace the motherboard because I bought an Intel I5 2500k processor without knowing it's supported and also because for some reason if I install more than 4GB of ram It beeps 4 times and it doesn't start up. But now I want a motherboard that supports the i5 2500k processor.
So I was wandering if the Z68 motherboards fit in the Inspiron 580 before I buy it.
If you have any recommendations of motherboards that support I5 2500k and is compatible with the Inspiron 580 or why I can't install more than 4GB of ram even though i used 8GB perfectly fine before then pls reply to this.
