i am having exactly the same problem... my montherboard came out of Dell Dimension 8200 (i850 Chipset)... and i think so did bblaisde's from the info he's given about his board.

for your reference the 34-Pin Front Panel connector on the motherboard looks like this:

all i need to know is the following connections:

1. Power Switch

2. Power LED

3. HDD LED

the rest i can live without
