I wonder if anybody out there can give me a steer please.
My Dell Precision 380 will not currently boot. At this point in time it is continuously trying to boot itself up. The pattern is amber light, green light, off and repeat. I've also had the situation whereby the amber slight stays on but flashes continuously and also, briefly, the situation whereby the green light stays on and some of the lights on th efromnt panel stay on (unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to write them down).
I've spent some time this afternoon trying to find solutions on the web and have been led to believe that it is possibly a power supply issue - I'm looking for confirmation that this is likely to be the case before I go ahead and buy one.
So a couple of questions:
1. Does what I describe above sound like a power supply issue?
2. If it is a power supply issue, how do I identify the type of power supply that I have in my machine in order to buy the appropriate replacement?
