Twice in the last three days my computer has had a total crash. My PC freezes up, gives me the blue screen of death and then tries to reboot. Instead of rebooting I get a message saying the computer can't find the hard drive. I press F1 several times to retry but it doesn't work. I have to use ctrl-alt-del to restart my computer. Fortunately the computer restarts like normal after this.
I've run Spybot, Malwarebytes, CCcleaner, and Microsoft Security Essentials trying to find any type of malware or virus on my PC but the scans all came back clean. I went to Dell Support and ran an online Diagnostic Check and it came back good as well.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? My computer is working now but I'm worried the problem could get worse.
