Sounds like you have plenty of ram and disk space !  Like i said, my system has a 32GB mSATA along with a 1TB disk  containing the operating system.  The system isn't slow, but I do have a 256GB SSD drive laying around, so I thought I'd add it as the primary SATA III boot drive, and move the 1TB disk to the SATA II port and just use it for storage.  

My concern is my existing 32GB mSATA cache drive ... I'm not sure if it would be better to just disable it with the new configuration, or leave it in place hoping that it will still be used as a cache for the slower 1TB drive.  I'm not sure if the mSATA only speeds up a drive connected to the SATA III port
