We've recently bought a XPS2710 Windows 8 Touch and have encountered the same "Phantom" touches and zooms as you describe! We hadn't thought about the heat but during Melbourne's recent heatwave the screen was playing up and now seems to have settled down a little bit. Love the system apart from this very frustrating feature.... Not sure now what to do... Log it with Dell and suffer a replacement period or hang out for a driver update (whilst we put an air conditioner in front of the screen!!) If you discover a fix please let us know!!
