Perhaps I should have clarified. There would be no dual-booting on
the /same/ partition. No logical drives.

Any partitions on the hard drive upon arrival would be deleted and
two new primary 40GB partitions would then be created and formatted
in NTFS and space remaining for a third primary partition, perhaps for
encrypted DATA.. XP PRO SP3 would be installed on the first primary
partition and Windows 7 would be installed on the second primary partition.
