Replacing PSU and video card for Studio XPS 435MT

Hello,

I have a nearly 4-year-old XPS 435MT desktop.  For quite some time the computer had had issues with random rebooting and blue screens of death.  I had posted on this forum about the problems before, and the day before yesterday a technician finally replaced the motherboard, memory, fans, heatsink, and video card.  The computer seems to be running better and is certainly much quieter, so I'm leaning toward believing the problems have been solved.

That said, I am interested in upgrading the RAM and video card in the coming months.  The computer has a 350-watt PSU and I know that's not very capable at all.  Would anyone be able to suggest an upgrade for my Radeon 4850 that doesn't require a PSU upgrade and can run decently given the computer's small form factor?  It wouldn't have to be a current-gen card, just something more modern than what I have now.  I also wouldn't be opposed to switching to NVIDIA.

Upgrading the PSU would also be an option, but again, given the computer's small size, what dimensions should I look for if I get a new one?  What about number and type of connectors? I am physically disabled and cannot tinker around in the case to look at the internals.

Luke
