Hey guys, I'm needing a little help. Here's my issue. First, I have been out of the loop for a long time now with PC hardware... The last pc I had was when I was about 13 and had an AMD K6 processor.. So, please excuse my lack knowledge.. I recently got an ASUS tower, it has a AMD radeon 7470 video card. 1TB sata hardrive, 8 gig ram, also has dedicated memory for video.. I can give more info on specs if needed.. I got this PC for gaming and I was quickly disappointed.. I am having to tune down the graphics on most games I've gotten so far, one for instance is Witcher... I've talked to colleges at work that play the same game and are having no issue.. One has the 7450 card and it runs fine... I compared the two cards and from what I can tell it seems the 7470 was cut back a bit rather than being better... Is there anyway I can boost the performance of the video card or will I need to replace it to play high graphic games like that.. I'm wanting to play skyrim on pc but don't want to with graphics tuned down... Anyone using this card having the same issue? Maybe I need to look for new drivers? Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
