I'm sorry if I gave off the impression that I was angry or annoyed by your post - I welcome all input. I had just failed to see the relevance, but your follow-up post was actually quite helpful. Can you tell me specifically which nVidia driver corrected the problem - I am currently using: 306.97.
The issue I saw wasn't an overall performance issue - overall this computer performs very well (it's got so much ram I don't know what to do with it all). In Windows and in applications in general things are fast - I have a very similar setup in terms of hard drive - except I have the Dell GTX 660, and you are correct it has 1536 MB of Vram.
Generally speaking games run well, and when I saw it dips below 30 fps, it really is just dropping to around 20 - 25 fps, so it doesn't make games unplayable - I just find that I can tell when the FPS drops below a certain point and it kind of temporarily reduces how immersed I am in the game - mostly me just being picky about everything performing at its very best.
Now when you say you have Dual 27" at 1080p - are you using both monitors when playing games, or just one?
I will explore the nVidia drivers to see if it helps - but most likely its simply that this card isn't meant to drive a monitor at 2560x1440.
