I know this is an old post, however Im upgrading myself at the moment. Already done the Ram and your board can take 8gb I know because I have the same model. Go to www.offtek.co.uk and you can down load a tool that will tell you what ram is required before you buy it. Also offtek's prices seem about right.
Lots of people and sites claiming they know it all say it can only take 4gb...thats not correct just upgrade your operating sysytem to 64bit instead of 32bit and presto!!!! full 8gb usable.
