Alienware would not boot at first try

I just received my alienware x51 cpu on the 4th of february. Upon assembly the cpu would not even start and at times it will iterate between turning on and off. I have checked my monitor and it works with every other laptop i can find in my house. I even followed the steps stated in the forums on how to deal with booting issues.

I called the service desk today and found out some horrible facts about dell. The engineers who can come to fix the cpu only work during office hours. The service staff even suggested I took leave for it. First of all its terrible that dell would ask its customers to take leave just to fix a cpu. If I wanted to take leave I would have build my own cpu which would cost less.

Feeling angry I then asked for a refund which he replied that I have to pay a fee of 60 SGD. How is it legal for dell to ask for refund fee after delivering a faulty product? Now I am at a loss. I wanted to take my refund and buy a more expensive but reliable brand  but even if I did it would take weeks to process.

So now I have to get someone to sit in for me at home hoping the engineer would even call which at this point of time I highly doubt.

I only could type on this forum since I can't even email technical support cause my product of 1 day is out of warranty.

If there is anyone left in dell who is honest please please advise me on what to do now.
